RBS - New global corporate finance team in India

The Royal Bank of Scotland has appointed Manoj Agarwal as the new head of global corporate finance in India, along with Anjani Kumar as the head of mergers and acquisitions and Dilip Kadambi as the head of equity capital markets.


In addition, Varsha Valecha joins The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) as a business leader in the equity capital markets (ECM) India team. They will jointly partner in bringing forth the combined businesses together.

Mr Agarwal is currently based in Hong Kong responsible for financial sponsors led mergers and acquisitions (M&A) advisory efforts in Asia. He has led several landmark M&A advisory and ECM transactions in the region.

Mr Kumar moves from ABN Amro's M&A advisory group in London. He will locally report to Mr Agarwal, and globally to Tom Willett, global head of M&A.

Mr Kadambi has worked at Kotak Mahindra Capital before joining ABN Amro three years ago. He will report into Mr Agarwal locally and John Sturmey, future head of ECM Asia.

Ms Valecha joins from Enam Securities after a stint of over 11 years. Her experience spans equity capital markets, coverage and investment banking products in the Indian equity markets.
